The 2020 Chicago Cubs convention kicks off on January 17 and continues through January 19 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
The Chicago Sinfonietta, led by conductor Mei-Ann Chen, performs its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. tribute concert on January 19 at Wentz Concert Hall in Naperville and January 20 at the Symphony Center in Chicago.
One of the Black Ensemble Theater's most popular productions, The Other Cinderella, continues through January 19. 
Grammy Award-winner Richard Marx performs at Arcada Theatre on February 9.
