I’ve been drawing about as long as I’ve been singing. Art, drawing and painting oddly enough kind of became my escape from the music business. There are aspects of the music business that can be very, very frustrating, very aggravating, very annoying so when I need to get away from that I carry a sketch pad around with me and sketch a little stuff. I started out with comic book characters, cartoons and stuff like that [before] I started trying to draw actual people. I learned that I’m a little bit better with the comic book characters. I don’t draw as well as I once did because, to be completely honest with you, I just don’t have the time to do it. But it’s definitely something that is therapeutic when I can do it.?
